Initial Meeting
It all begins with an initial conversation between us and the couple. This can be done in person, over the phone, or through email. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss basic details such as the wedding date, venue, theme, guest numbers and guest numbers. During this stage, we will also discuss the couple’s ideas and any specific design elements they would like to incorporate into their cake. We will then provide guidance and suggestions based on the couple’s preferences and the overall wedding theme.

Cake Tasting
The next step is to schedule a cake tasting session where our Taster Box will be sent to you. You will have the opportunity to sample different luxurious cake flavours from the comfort of your home.

Size and Servings
We will then discuss the size of the cake based on the estimated number of guests. The cake designer will provide recommendations on the number of tiers required and the serving size per tier to ensure that there is enough cake for everyone. If there is a requirement for faux tiers, it will also be discussed at this stage.

Budget and Pricing
Following this, we will provide a detailed quote based on the size, design complexity, flavors, and any additional decorative elements requested by the couple. The couple can discuss their budget, and we can then suggest options to meet their requirements.

Final Design Confirmation
Once the couple has decided on the cake design, flavors, and budget, the cake designer will provide a sketch or visual representation of the finalized design. The couple will have the opportunity to review and make any necessary adjustments before giving their final approval.

Contract and Deposit
A contract will be prepared outlining all the details discussed, including the design, flavors, pricing, delivery, and any other terms and conditions. The couple will be required to sign the contract and provide a deposit to secure the wedding cake order.

Follow-Up and Communication
Throughout the planning process, we will maintain open communication with the couple, providing updates on the progress of the cake and addressing any questions or concerns if need be.

Delivery and Set-Up
On the wedding day, we will deliver the cake to the venue and ensure that it is set up and displayed beautifully. We may also coordinate with the venue staff or wedding planner to ensure a smooth and seamless cake cutting ceremony especially where there may be a rental if our cake stands.
